Our Cakes

All our celebration cakes are individual bespoke designs hand crafted especially for you.

You can have the shape of your choice, round, square, petal, oval, triangular, hexagonal, octagonal, heart, scalloped, horseshoe, numbers or any of the speciality shapes - we have the gifted staff that can produce a cake to fit in with your requirements.

We also have many varieties of cakes to offer you, from our very rich and succulent fruit cake, light farmhouse fruit, flavoured sponge cakes, to our much sort after gooey chocolate sponge.

We can also offer to supply the cake stands and knives, either to buy or to hire. Individual cake boxes, both off the shelf and personalised, together with matching serviettes.

We also have an exclusive stationary printing service, full details available on request.

Rich Fruit Cake
Our rich, succulent fruit cake is moist with a beautiful flavour. It contains ground almonds but no pieces of nuts. This people seem to prefer. We also put large pieces of glacier cherries in to add to the flavour. All our cakes have had a drink. If you come into the shop, please ask for a sample piece.

Rich Chocolate Fudge Cake
This is a scrumptious, soft moist chocolate cake with a gooey fudge filling. You will certainly want a second piece. It is a must for the chocoholics. You can choose your filling between Milk chocolate or Plain. For the real chocoholics you can have your cake covered in White, Milk or Plain chocolate, with a chocolate decoration. (Irresistible)

Carrot Cake
This is a moist spicy cake with a cream cheese filling. It has quite a light texture. A great alternative to sponge. A healthier option - (that is before the icing goes on top!!).

Sponge Cake
We think our sponge cake is the best. A superb vanilla sponge suitable for all ages. The choice of filling is yours. Jam and cream (very popular), just jam, chocolate fudge or butter cream - coffee, chocolate or lemon. We can also flavour the sponge if you prefer, coffee or maybe lemon.

Muffins
A sumptuous mixture of flavours including Double Choc Chip, Choc Orange and Blueberry.

Shortbreads
There's nothing new about shortbread, it has been with us for centuries. Ancient records trace this simply prepared, yet rich and satisfying sweet cookie as far back as Medieval and Elizabethan times. Tastes don't stand that test of time unless there is something really special about them.

Cake Tower
If your preference is individual cakes, then we can quote for a cake tower of decorated fairy cakes, or muffin size. A variety of flavours with a large choice of toppings are available, each individual cake being hand decorated and finished with a choice of flowers to match perfectly with your colour scheme.
