Need a Cake was established by qualified tutor, Rachel Brown whose experience and enthusiasm for the art of cake making and decoration is inspiring. Rachel recalls, “I can never remember a time, even as a child, when I did not enjoy creating innovative cakes”

Although the company is based in the South of England with our shop in Reading, we provide an on-line service to cater for all areas of the UK, but maintain a help line for the individual touch.

Our specialty is in sugar craft design, including printed images, to capture the imagination of our customers and we are delighted to offer a personal consultation in our shop, on-line or by telephone to inspire you or help you develop your ideas into the finished product. Once your idea is baked and decorated we will then gift–wrap and deliver the result so you can sit back and enjoy the reaction from the recipients.
